Profile: My research interests are mostly in the field of Cultural Psychology and are focused on cooperation and communication, as social processes, with a special attention on intercultural aspects. The main characteristics of these studies are the application and studying of new technologies as social artefacts able to modify the interactions modalities and able to define new action contest for communication and cooperation processes. The methodologies used in the research are taken from ethnographic studies and are mostly qualitative such as discourse analysis and gesture analysis. From this point of view it is possible to configure three main research fields: Computer mediated communication: linguistic, social and cultural perspective; Cultural Psychology: ethnic minorities and new media; Distance learning system: theoretical aspects and modelling.
