Research

Our research activities
The activities of the Interaction & Culture Lab see the collaboration of researchers from different disciplines. The interest for applied research, for the new challenges posed by social change and for the spread of new technologies, motivate our research team to develop new methods of collecting and analyzing data.
Main research fields
The main research areas are represented by the study of processes of interaction between individuals and groups in different contexts, ranging from work organizations to public infrastructure such as airports and prisons, from parliamentary debates to communities of practices and participation in intercultural contexts.
Methodologies and Tools
The laboratory is equipped with instruments for the collection and processing of ethnographic data (audio and video recordings) through a wide range of software for storage and analysis of interactive data. Moreover, the laboratory provides software for designing web applications and virtual environments.
